Building Financial Sustainability

In cooperation with the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, AVI will ensure our underserved villages have the business education, tools, accessibility to USDA programming, and support needed to succeed as farmers and ranchers. AVI’s curriculum will focus on financial planning, business planning, tax planning, market planning, cooperative development support, and technical support relative to the financial or business aspect. The program explicitly addresses small rural enterprises to overcome hurdles in running a successful farm/ranch operation.
